Look at the 2.00 row: it is the point where Malay odds flip from positive to negative, and Indonesian and American odds flip from negative to positive.
Each Format in One Sentence
Decimal
The amount returned for every RM1, including the stake. RM10 at 1.90 returns RM19.
Hong Kong
The net profit for every RM1. RM10 at 0.90 makes RM9 profit.
Malay
Positive works like Hong Kong; negative shows the amount staked to win RM1.
Indonesian
Positive shows the profit per RM1; negative shows the amount you must stake to make RM1.
American
Positive shows the profit on RM100; negative shows the stake needed to make RM100.
Probability
Not a betting format, but the best way to compare a price with your own estimate.
The Asian Handicap Through Match Examples
Example 1: The favourite at −1.25
You stake RM100 on the favourite at −1.25 with decimal odds of 1.95. The stake is split: RM50 on −1 and RM50 on −1.5.

Example 2: The underdog at +0.75

Working Out a Market’s Margin
Add up the implied probabilities of every outcome in a market. For example, a 1X2 market priced 2.40, 3.30 and 3.00 gives 41.7% + 30.3% + 33.3% = 105.3%. That extra 5.3% is the bookmaker’s margin. Two-way markets such as the Asian Handicap usually carry lower margins than three-way or correct-score markets, so they often offer fairer prices.

Questions & Answers
Why can Malay odds be negative?
Negative Malay odds are used when the decimal price is above 2.00. For example, −0.80 means you stake RM0.80 to win RM1.
Which odds format is easiest for beginners?
Decimal is the easiest because it shows the total return including your stake straight away.
Are Indonesian odds the same as Malay odds?
No. Both use plus and minus signs, but over different ranges. Decimal 1.90 is 0.90 in Malay but −1.11 in Indonesian.
What happens to a −1.25 bet if the team wins 1–0?
The half on −1 is refunded and the half on −1.5 loses, so you lose half of your stake.
Can I change the odds format at Impulse88?
